Why We Built This Site
Wisconsin favors public access to court information, but the correct route depends on what the reader needs. Wisconsin Circuit Court Access provides public case summaries and event histories. The Grant County Clerk of Circuit Court maintains records filed in both circuit branches and supplies copies from the court file. The separate Register in Probate administers probate, guardianship, mental-health, and juvenile matters, where confidentiality limits are especially important. This site organizes those official routes, terms, and contact details so a reader can start with the proper custodian.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, with no affiliation to the Wisconsin Court System, Grant County government, or any clerk or court. Its role has firm limits:
- We cannot provide legal advice about a case or filing deadline
- We cannot issue an official or certified court document
- We cannot seal, remove, or revise a case record
- We cannot set, reset, or confirm a hearing date
- We cannot retrieve a courthouse file or official docket for a visitor
- We cannot promise that a listed fee, hour, or procedure has not changed
An official or certified Grant County court record must come from the Grant County Clerk of Circuit Court or the court office that maintains it.
Search Partners
Outside providers power search boxes that appear on some pages. They control their services, prices, data practices, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this site. We do not determine the provider's charges or guarantee the completeness of its results.
